some eye candy at Brimfield Antique Show

It was a short but sweet trip to the fall showing of antiques at Brimfield... I went with a work friend who just bought a new house and was on the hunt for necessities. Success all around.

an unexpected trip to Paris

While on my way to the Kind & Jugend Show in Cologne Germany. We had a long layover in France soo, off to Paris.

this beautiful park hidden in the foothills of Litchfield Connecticut is where I took Sarah for several dates before we were married. One outing included a picnic lunch with my mom and dad.

altho sick, Blake looks so sweet and comfy. He gets extra huggy too when under the weather.

fall will always be my favorite season...

blake loves to throw leaves... no matter where he is! Here he is on the main street in Collinsville Connecticut. Also, a great pic in front of my mom’s favorite country candy store.

a spring walk in a new park...

... it's always amazing how... if you just travel around your neighborhood, and go beyond your comfort zone of neighborhood labels... you just might find something beautiful. this park is not in the best area.

Christmas in Maryland

...turned out to be a very nice christmas... santa really does know how to find little boys when they have traveled to a different state:)

a trip to Duke U.

what was a last minute whim turned into a trip to remember for years to come...

this is duke university in the fall. we were there to surprise zach, and see him perform in his a cappella holiday concert... it was a blast.

what good lighting can do!

thanks to a good friend Tiffany, we surrendered Blake to a couple of hours of photography. we shot at Roger William's Park Zoo. these shots look so calm and posed... soo not true if you were there....

a long hike, seasonal gardens, halloween... ahhh, the Fall

i am sure i am not alone in this... but, i love the fall. and, since our weather is ever changing, when it’s perfect, it’s really prefect, like my one token basket of mums, my blurry pic of halloween night, and my favorite pumpkin. we look a walk in lincoln-woods park, and i was blessed by this pic of blake reaching for his leaf that he had captured. also, my very small side garden looks so enchanting with my collection of antique garden tools.

here are some interior shots that i like. of course, the studio. and, loie fuller restaurant on the west side of providence... perfect art deco interior, and fabulous food. sadie took me there for father’s day, yum! our bedroom... and our dining room.
